Garrett was up front about timeline and communicated every step of the process AND stayed within the promised timeline of completion. Starside Construction did an amazing job adding to our home on Galveston bay. We doubled the size of our home which is built on pilings. Three bedrooms and one bath were added along with many improvements made to the original structure. Frank and Garrett aim to please. We have never built anything with less stress. Communication was timely and thorough. All aspects of the building process were handled professionally and with care. They are knowledgeable builders and did a beautiful job on our home. Energy conservation was a priority. They take pride in their work and our satisfaction was their goal. They were fair in their pricing and when things were added they were accurate and fair with pricing additional items not in the original contract. They went above and beyond in finishing everything to our satisfaction. Our bay house feels like a brand new home. So many of our neighbors have commented on how much they like our newly constructed home. Even their architect did a great job designing the add on. It doesn’t look like an addition. StarSide Construction did a fantastic job painting our three commercial buildings. They worked around our timeline, were neat and punctual, protected our tenants’ cars, and finished everything on schedule. When a tenant had a water leak, they jumped in with new flooring and even worked over the weekend to avoid disrupting business. They’ve also done extensive residential work for us, laying marble flooring throughout, repairing shower leaks, restoring the shower to the design we wanted, and painting our home beautifully. Starside built a 20x40 covered, attached patio for us last year. We worked with Garrett, who took our idea and rudimentary drawings and brought it to life. Our family, friends and us were thoroughly impressed with the finished structure. Garrett was honest, professional and listened to all our questions and concerns throughout the process. Appx 2 days after the product was completed, hurricane Beryl showed up and caused extensive damage to our house and garage (new patio had no issues). I contacted Garrett, who showed up with a crew (in between rain storms) covered up various holes in our roof to prevent further damage. This was big, as it was difficult to find a roofer at that time. Starside did such a fine job with our patio and showed up in our time of need ( even with storm damage at some of their other projects as well as their own homes) that we hired them to run the project to replace our roof and do interior repairs caused by the roof leaks. Because of the quality of their work and integrity of Garrett and other employees I would not hesitate to use them again and definitely recommend them for any project you are considering, See more See less
